Low amniotic fluid... please help
I went for my regular checkup on last Monday (33weeks and 1rday... after a quick scan my doc told me the fluid around baby seems low... she said it ain't a panic situation just worrisome... and that I should increase my water consumption and take rest for a week and get a USG in a weeks time... she also prescribed a L-arginine solution for a week..
:: I went in for my scan yesterday... the AFI is 6.82.. doctor recommended a Doppler as well... the baby is measuring a week ahead at 34week 5 days and 2.5kgs ( I m 33 week 5 days) but baby Was almost 2 week ahead at 30 weeks so I am worried the growth may have slowed down.. also I have no reference to know if in last 4 days fluid has gone up or not, as my OB didn't give me a no last time... she has called me on Wednesday again as she says it takes 7-8 days for L-arginine solution to show some changes... I am also drinking like 5 litres of fluids daily... she said if the fluid doesn't go up she may have to give me injections daily to ensure that the pregnancy extends till 37 week atleast... I am very worried... I can't stop googling and can't sleep... can someone please help me... what injections are given... and What else can I do... also do any of u mamas have some experiences that can put me at a little ease... please 🙏🏻
