Was I mean?

So we are over at my grandfather's for fathers day. My 2 siblings and my husband and I were playing Uno. We were playing that first and in the middle of it my husband starts also playing a game on his phone. Well he wasn't paying attention to our game and I was trying to get him to play and was confused so I said "maybe you should put the phone down and play the game we were playing first". I didn't say it rude, just simply stated it. He got all mad and said "well maybe you should stop being such a rude bitch!" And then yelled at me to take my turn. I've been having a really hard time with myself lately and he has been super grumpy and rude and I try to talk to him about what's wrong and he will not open up to me. I try to do nice things and he ignores it or is rude. Was I being a "mean bitch"?
