4mo old in umbrella stroller?

My son has pretty good head control ( can't sit by himself or anything). We're going out of town in a week for a few days and I'm wondering if we can take his travel stroller instead of the big one? It is NOT full recline. It says six months but ...?

Too soon. It's best to wait until they can sit on their own

I'd wait until baby can sit unassisted at the earliest.

It doesn’t offer enough back support if you most then get one with a hard back and that reclines into different positions to me they don’t seem very comfortable and my little one cried the whole time when I had him in one he preferred to be in his car seat I guess because it was snug and he was always curled up sleeping

4 months is way to young for an umbrella stroller.

I think an umbrella stroller would be really uncomfortable for a 4 month old. My baby is 4 months and I put her in the double I have without her car seat and she was very uncomfortable, it even reclines a bit - she's in the back lol

My daughter had good head control, but I wouldn't put her in one until she was around 8 months. It just doesn't seem as safe or comfortable.
