I meditate or try breathing exercises as well as write in a journal and go on walks, and all of those are the best for me. Writing what is making you anxious is so great because you can et it all out there and feel like you are telling someone, even if you are too scared/don't want to. Walking outside or just going outside in general is freeing and nice and fresh air is always helpful. Meditation is good to just clear your mind and relax, you can look up different meditation techniques and I usually light an incense while meditating. There are apps for breathing exercises and those always really help me. I hope this is helpful to you!!

Honestly, medication and meditation. You can google meditation techniques (like focusing on a candle flame or imagining a white light traveling through your body) or even listen to guided meditations on YouTube. Those help me a lot and get me focused on my breathing instead of my anxiety. I have used marijuana for anxiety for years but of course you should only use it if it is legal, you are of age, and you have proper guidance as to what types of products to use for anxiety as some marijuana products can make anxiety worse. I have also had a lot of help from prescription meds, but those should be taken carefully, too. My doctor prescribed me an anti-depressant/anti-anxiety that helped me sleep, gave me energy in the morning, and helped a ton with my anxiety. It really surprised me how much it helped! My doc was very thorough and ran a bunch of tests on me first, and I did some research on my own about the medication. There are several anti-anxiety medications that can be taken as needed, as well, if you don't feel like you need to be medicated all the time. So that's what I would recommend - practice meditation and talk to your doctor about medication.

I used to cut and my method to not cut was to snap a rubber band on my wrist. It's also worked for my anxiety. Brings me back down to earth. As well as breathing exercises
