Medicaid question?

Do any of you ladies know if Medicaid covers these non invasive chromosomal tests done from week 10-13.. Especially the one that lets you know the sex of the baby? If so what is it called? I have heard various names from mt21, panorama, ect..

I would call Medicaid to confirm. I have private insurance that required pre-authorization because I'm not over 35.  Some also won't cover it if you aren't high risk.  I have a brother with Downs, so I should be high risk, but my doctor did not get the pre-authorization required by my insurance and now I have a $5,000 bill I get to sort out. I learned the hard way that its best to confirm with insurance.

The most common name is MATERNI T21. and insurance covers it because it also detects if the baby will have any deformities..
