We got my newborn the halo bassinet which everyone seems to love. I absolutely love it as the arm bends down and the bassinet comes over my bed making it very easy for me to put him in and out. Problem is the baby won't sleep in it. He will only sleep on me or in a swing or something cozy. The second I put him down in it he starts crying... it's not cozy it's just a flat mattress which is what they say is safest. So my question is what does everyone do with a situation like this?? I want my baby to be safe but I also want him to sleep! I tried swaddling him... putting a thin swaddle tightly around the mattress for added comfort.,. So far nothing has worked. Please help! Thanks
