Midwife or OB?

Question

I have an appointment scheduled with both, but I have little knowledge about Midwifery in general. What'd you decide? And why? How were your experiences either/both?

Went with a midwife and had a great experience. They rotated different ones during each appointment and I just got whatever one was working that day in delivery once I had my baby. It was nice to meet different people through the process and I hear they are a little more laid back but idk cause they are my only experience. Delivery was great with a midwife though, she handed the baby to me as soon as he came out to do skin to skin and gave us time to bond while stitching me up and everything before cleaning him up and weighing him. Idk of regular doctors do that either but I heard that was a midwife thing too

Im 11 weeks and im going with a midwife and they are all super great and loaded with information and knowledge i notice having a midwife is a bit more personal and i think they are a grreat option but go with whatever you feel is more comfortable for yourself. Im at a low risk pregnancy so i have no problem going with a midwife.
