What do you do?

You're out in a carpark putting your child into their car seat when you notice the owner of the car next to you is waiting to get into theirs. They look impatient (arms crossed and tapping their foot on the floor). What do you do?

I would move. If they don't also have a child then it takes them 5 seconds to open the door and get in their car. But I'm also the type of person who will let you go in front of me in the store if you look like you are in a hurry. And I also run full speed across a crosswalk - I absolutely hate when people take their sweet fucking time walking across and then by the time they make it my light is red again 😑 so I don't do it to others.

My children will always come first it is not my fault you are impatient nor is it my fault you are in a hurry i will take as much time as i need to make sure both my kids are safe and secured in their seats

I live in a really bad neighborhood if you even glance someones way you get a "what are you looking at?" Or when you come out of a store someone is coming up too close asking for money. If I tried to take my time I would be putting myself and my child into danger. It's easy to move and get out of someones way rather than try to take my time because I may feel entitled to it.

It takes less than a minute for someone to get in their car. I just lean in and close the door enough for them to get in & go right back to what I was doing. But I try to be a nice & polite person.

If they can't wait why did they park next to me when they can see a car seat base? I'm gonna worry about my child first. Leave the house or store earlier next time and you won't have to sit there tapping your feet 😂

I would move if I'm doing something that will take longer. As for the comments saying I'll take care of my child...it's not like I would throw them in their seat, close the door and drive away lol I can shut the door part way, step back, and then reopen it and go about my business with baby. It would depend on the situation but it's not that hard to move aside lol If my kid is hanging out of their seat in danger or something of course the other person would have to wait...
