Any military moms out there?

I'm a FTM with a 6 month old and my husband just went away for a couple of months and my poor baby is sad! I can tell he is looking around for him and it just breaks my heart. How do you guys deal with this?!?

Not military, but my husband travels frequently for work (about every other week). I've learned now to stop mentioning daddy when he's gone because our LO will now start looking around for him if I say it. I feel so bad, there's no way at this point to explain that daddy will be back soon. I'm afraid it's only going to get harder. 😕

I'm actually in the military just same back from 2 weeks, my LO handled it fine and was excited to see me

Military mom! My daughter cries every time my husband leaves to go anywhere. He was suppose to go away for a month and a half but it changed. It kills me every time he leaves. She just watches the door.
