Hard spot on cervix?

Question

My partner was fingering me and noticed a hard bump next to my cervical opening. He said it wasn't big, but it wasn't small either. I don't have any other bumps on my cervix than this one, so I'm worried that it's a tumor or something.

Can you have random bumps on your cervix and them be perfectly normal? I have a lot of health anxiety so I'm freaking out.

Your cervix can feel kinda hard like your nose at certain times of your cycle. Google (my beautiful cervix) and on there you will learn more about the cervix. It will show you what a cervix looks like throughout the month. I hope this helps!

It sounds like a benign cyst.  They typically disappear after you get your period.

The way I see it is you have two options

1. Ignore it and then later you could find out it was something serious and could have been prevented if diagnosed earlier

Or

2. Have it checked and find out if it is of any medical concern or not.

I've got one too. It's tiny. That's two of us, must be a common thing, I wouldn't worry. I do vaguely remember reading on a forum that other women have it too.
