so I posted a status on fb asking opinions on taking my oldest who will be 6 next month to an aquarium for his birthday present, & I said specifically in it that I didn't want to take HIM to the zoo bc it's going to be so hot mid of summer. this girl I went to school with comments "with how many kids u have I'd look into getting summer passes to the zoo" like 1st of all, I have 3 kids (pregnant with #4 but nobody knows) 3 isn't a lot of kids ? handful yes bc they're young (almost 6, 3 & 2) but definitely not a lot. there are plenty of people who have 6+ so that irritated me a bit THEN suggested tickets to the zoo. I don't want to take him to the zoo bc we always go to the zoo for mothers day & they take the kids for school field trips. so I wanted to take him somewhere he's never been. probably overreacting but just bc someone has 1 kid & thinks 1 kid is a lot doesn't mean 3 is 😑
