So ever since our daughter was born I've been having problems with my MIL. She is constantly saying that she misses her but makes no type of effort to see her. We have had two family get togethers since she was born my MIL was at one and was mad I wouldn't let my daughter near her (she had bronchitis) and the second one was a very big day. Our daughter was baptized and she never showed. The one time we did go to her house held her for 2 min and got mad because she couldn't video chat everyone because my daughter kept crying. She has called me at 9:30pm asking if she can come over at like 10/10:30p to see her. My daughter lays down between 9p and 10p. I'm not going to mess her schedule up when we have to be up at 6a. I've also asked her to give me a few days notice so I can make sure I don't make plans. Yesterday we were going to see her once I got off work and she decided to call me and say well I decided I'm leaving so I won't be home. She keeps going against our wishes when it comes to certain things. And the biggest thing that gets me is she says my daughter is her baby not mine. This is my first child.
