VBAC and over 35?

Question

Are there any other 'elderly' mamas out there who are hoping to have a vaginal birth after a previous csection? I think I'd really like to give it a try and I'm hoping I can find an OB or midwife who will support me. I'll be 37. Can anyone share a positive story about a VBAC? Thanks!

Your age has nothing to do with having a VBAC.you just need to find an ob or midwife that's VBAC friendly

Almost 2years ago I had a successful VBAC  I was 37 yrs old at that time. I am 39 yrs old now and This is my third and last pregnancy and same thing I'll do VBAC. As long as you labor on you own there will be no problem for you to try VBAC.

My doctor supports VBAC. She actually prefers it. I'm 38 and I'm going to attempt it. I want him to experience a birth since it's his first child. I'm being positive.

Im 36, going for my 3vbac. First 2 vbac were amazing, i can only imagine this one (which is now 6 days over edd) will be even better. Dont worry about your age, or the age gap between thechildren, or the size of the baby or all the other crap they tell you. Trust your body, find support. It will be an experience! Good luck!

I'm 38 and my OB had no problems with me trying for a vbac.
