What just happened...?

Question

So, on Father's Day my husband and I were talking about babies and he asked if I was pregnant and I told him I wasn't as far as I knew. Monday morning I was thinking about it so I took a test and got 2 clear BFPs! My husband wanted a digital so I took one that night and it said Not Pregnant but, my husband being the man he is, broke the test open to see the if there was a second line or not- which there was. I went to the doctor Tuesday morning to confirm and they told me their test was Negative! I was supposed to start AF Tuesday. Naturally, I went and got a couple boxes of tests and held my wee for a couple hours and got a SUPER faint positive. This morning (Wednesday) my husband wanted me to take a test before he went to work and it was REALLY faint. What happened? I know the line is supposed to get darker as your baby gets stronger, did we just lose them?

Top test is Monday 6/19, middle is 6/20, bottom is today 6/21. 
UPDATE: It seems this was a chemical pregnancy, I started cramping and bleeding Thursday morning. Thank you guys so much for your support ❤️ My heart goes out to all of you who went through this as well, it's the worst kind of tease. We'll keep our fingers crossed that the next time we see those two pink lines we get to have a baby!

Looks like a chemical pregnancy. This happened to me as well. I'm sorry for your loss.

Did you use first morning urine for the last test? You may just be testing too soon and the HCG is too dilute. I'd try again tomorrow morning. If it's still faint in the morning it might be a chemical pregnancy. I'm sorry for your loss.

It could have been a chemical pregnancy. That's what happened to me :(

This is exactly what happened to me when I had a chemical pregnancy.. however, that doesn't necessarily mean that's the case for you ! I'd go to the doctor and ask for a blood test. Good luck love xx

Sounds like a chemical pregnancy. Also, don't open the digital tests, it just makes it invalid. The screen is what you should be looking at, not the lines inside.

If your period still hasn't come in the next few days, make an appointment and ask for a blood test.
