Is it normal for my vajayjay to smell during period?

So I'm on my fourth day and I notice that there is a foul odor down there. Is this normal?

Could be dried blood... There's all kinds of stuff goin on down there while Aunt Flo is in town; but if you think it may be serious.. Ask your doc!

Haha yea duh. It's blood coming out of a vagina not supposed to smell like roses.

Yeah, unfortunately. Things that have helped me, though, include changing my diet particularly during my period (just lots of water and fruit) and using tampons instead of pads. I hate tampons, but I also hate just having blood and old blood out on the pad. Also, shower daily of course and just try to wash up when you can.
