How often do you change your tampon?

Question

So recently I've gotten back on my health kick and I've been drinking A LOT of water, which in turn means I have to pee ALL. THE. TIME. This got me thinking though. I usually change my tampon every time I go to the bathroom even though I have pretty light periods. But now that I'm peeing all the time should I still be changing it every time. Just curious.

I usually don't change my tampon until I have too (period wise ) I go to the bathroom in it but I understand changing if  you pee alot . It depends on how often you use the restroom but I would just change it every 2 or 3 times.

I only change my tampon when it's full. I'll leave it in if I need to pee and the tampons still good. I can't deal with that scratchy feeling when you pull your tampon out and it's still dry..plus I feel like that would be a waste of tampons lol. If you don't wanna get the string wet then just hold it to the side while you pee.

I haven't used a tampon in years (I have a cup now) but I used to change mine whenever I needed to change it which was probably about every 4-8hrs depending on my flow. I'd use the bathroom and leave it in. It never bothered me at all.

Personally I do change it every time I use the bathroom but other girls I work with change it every second time. It's mostly personal preference
