am I in serious trouble?

My period hasn't started in 3 months, I'm 13 and started it December of last year . Is my period jut irregular or am I in serious trouble ?

Since you just started to going to take a while to become regular, I started mine when I was 12 and it took until I was 17 to finally have a regular period. So you're fine, unless you're sexually actively and not using the right precautions

Since you're 13 you probably just started your first period give or take a year. Your body isn't fully scheduled yet and trust me it won't be for a long time, maybe never. Usually after like 3 years you will have a better understanding of how your body works when you get your period-- some people get it every month, every other month , I have family that haven't gotten their period again since they were 15.

Don't be afraid to ask your mom or a woman you trust about what's going on! She will be the most important person. Any woman who is immediate family can help you guess what to expect since your menstrual flow is likely similar to theirs!

If you feel like it would actually benefit you (I have friends who's parents don't care, sadly), I would go to your parent and tell them about your concern. You could possibly be irregular, especially at a younger age, or it could be serious. Everyone is different, but it's nothing to be afraid of talking about! It's better to be safe than sorry. This happened to me before. Usually when you get your period for the 1st time you get it & then you don't get it for a few months. It all depends on how your body is.

First periods are normal to be irregular, don't worry. When I first got mine, the next didn't came until 6 months later. Your body is just adjusting.

Don't worry, it's just your body trying to adjust itself with this new period of yours. It's totally normal. I didn't get my period for three months and after that I got it. Don't worry
