Headed to the hospital on Monday 3/16 after both raised blood pressure and protein in urine. Was given a foley bubble to get things started, and had pitocin started Tuesday 3/17 at 9 am. After 28 hours of laboring (with an epidural that wore off), I was not progressing past 4 cm, which the foley ball had done. Then the baby pooped inside! The decision was quickly made to get me to the OR for a cesarean. Within 5 mins our perfect boy was here! Born 12:24 pm on March 18. We love him more than anything. While it was not the ideal labor one imagines. I trusted the process and my doctor. Welcome to the world baby Cooper! 💙
