Induction experiences
This is my third pregnancy, my first two were both unplanned blessings from god. For years I had a hard time staying pregnant. Meaning I had several miscarriages prior to finally having my first born. Anyway, after all those miscarriages finally pregnant with my son his due date came and went I was 41 weeks and 1 day and I was not even dialated, my cervix was still not even ripe. So I had to have the entire induction process with the cervidil overnight and all. It was a long and painful process which caused my body to go into a semi shock and I was vomiting for hours and just shaking. Luckily, all the medications worked with my body and I successfully delivered my son naturally the following day. My second pregnancy with my daughter went the same however at 41 weeks and 1 day I was only 1 cm dilated and my cervix was at least ripe this time. The process with my daughter was not a two day process. I went into the hospital they administered pitocin and then a few hours later broke my water. Within an hour my baby girl was born. With all this said, I just want to know if anyone has gone through the same experience and how was it for you? Did your doctor after two inductions already start wanting to plan for the third like mine is? Has anyone had two or more inductions but still was able to finally have a natural spontaneous labor?
