Eating baby powder ?

Ik I have pica,& the dr prescribes me iron pills but doesnt know I have pica or even eat baby powder . I don't eat a lot , it started at about 25w pregnancy . It's only the cornstarch baby powder with aloe & its J&J brand . I'm currently 35w pregnant . Is it harmful to baby?

You should definitely make your doctor aware. They would be the best person to tell you whether that is harmful and the best person to help you stop.

Yes because there is talc in it and that is linked to cancer particularly ovarian cancer.

I've craved and ate baby powder with both my kids even without telling my doctor and they came out fine as long as it's pure cornstarch baby powder and no talc then it's fine at least in my experience

Tell your dr, maybe you have a vitamin deficiency that makes you crave the powder. Your doctor can help you
