My periods use to be very irregular, when I first started college figured it was just stress... and everything and then they became somewhat regular now they have become crazy out of whack my last cycle was 108 days long... the cycle before that was like 40 days long and this cycle I am currently on Day 90... And took a test two days ago and not pregnant... 

Anyways I get to the drs because I'm mad, it makes no sense to me that I have to wait almost 8 months (from when it was sent)  for my Gyno appointment... so I went and I said I want to be sent for blood work this is what's going on with my cycles and she says well I could put you on the pill but that seems a little counterproductive... let's send you for an ultrasound again... and yeah there's no real test for hormones or anything like that.. so I was like well can you at least send me to check my thyroid and she's like yeah that can sometimes be the cause... 

I was almost 100% sure that there was test she could have done  so I have no idea why she would be telling me that there isn't... Also women on another topic of mine said there was... 

Now I'm also freaking out because every women on my moms side of the family has had to have a hysterectomy... my mom I believe was the second youngest in the family to have it done due to cancerous cells ... and it's like what if something like that is wrong with me and no one will take me serious..? And see that there is a real problem going on here!!
