anyone had adverse effects to the mini pill?

When I had my baby I had the initial baby blues which eventually cleared up and I began to feel like myself..but now I just started the mini pill since I am breastfeeding. It's progestin based BC, no estrogen. Since starting it I began having anxiety and depression I think.. I started having psychotic thoughts that are just not me and I have to fight them away. Has anyone had the mini pill cause severe anxiety and/or depression very quickly?

Did you guys ever have adverse effects with the combination pill or just the mini? I took the combo for years with no issues and started having extreme anxiety and some depression around the same time I started the mini pill. I've started medication but am wondering if I need to stop the pill too

Yes. I had to stop taking it. I'm almost 7 months pp. I've had the baby blues. Still pretty weepy. I tried the mini pill for 2 packs. It made the baby blues 100% worse. I was a nightmare. I was so mean and nasty to my hubby. I couldn't stand my son. I've been off it a few months now and feel so much better.
