Should I wait to be induced?

So I'm 39 weeks and 4 days pregnant. My doctor wants to induce me tomorrow at 5am. I'm curently 3 cm and have been having contractions all day but not consistent enough to be in actual labor. I'm thinking I'm in early labor. Do you guys think I should wait a few days to see if he comes on his own? I'm hoping these contractions become more consistent so i don't have to be induced there staring to kill my back. I've been losing my mucus plug over the last few days but yesterday had my bloddy show. What do you guys think?

Ummm it's your choice if you want to be induced or not. If you want to wait, then wait. If not, go with the induction. I've heard that being induced  leads to a much more painful labour and that the risk of c section goes up.

I'm 38 wks tomorrow and my doctor said if she isn't here by next week they are going to induce me at 39 weeks - I'm 2-3 cm , they can feel her head, I lost 3 lbs , but nothing is working here . My other 2 came 2 weeks early and were beyond ok so they will put me out of my misery that week - if she doesn't decide to come out lol . It's totally up to u - I would love to have them jumpstart the process just bc I have no more room - it's whatever u are comfortable with . If this isn't your first I would say go for it

Personally I would wait a couple of days and see what happens. You might have an easier birth if you manage to avoid induction. If there is nothing to suggest you or baby at risk, I don't see why your doc is inducing you before you hit 41 weeks.
