natural hair?

So I'm 14 and my mom has made me get relaxers for years now and I'm not sure when my first one was. But I when she lets me choose how I want my hair or when I turn 18 whichever comes first i want to go natural although I've never seen my hair natural in a picture before always my hair in twists. In my baby picture it looked like my hair is straight. But in the second picture I'm three years old and it looks like my hair is curly. So do black babies hair sometimes look like that as a newborn but then grow to be curly? Because I hope that I have curly hair because I want to go natural soon or one day. I plan too. I don't know if you understand what I'm asking but I want advice. And I know this is not the app to post this kind of stuff but I'm curious. Btw I am not sure when my first relaxer was so the second picture idk if I had a relaxer and that was from braids or something so yeah.
