Does whey products+weight gain

Question

Does anyone know if whey products(as in drinks) helps with gaining weight at all? I'm currently losing weight and I'd like to gain weight instead. Any tips would be appreciated,too.(:

If you do some weight training and then consume whet protein, you will gain weight in the form of muscle. If you just drink whey protein without working out, you will gain weight in the form of fat, and you won't look toned. If you just want to gain weight and don't care about tone, then yeah whey protein would work.
