Ra
I'll try not to turn this into a personal rant.
But is enough being done about how "regular" being sexually assaulted is? Are there enough preventive measures? What can be done to not only reduce the amount of sexual assault related crimes, but to help those who have been victims, to speak up?
It's a well known fact it's beyond under reported, victim shaming runs rampant, and I feel as tho nothing is being done about it. As if it's this taboo topic people tip toe around. I just found out my ride or die best friend from kindergarten, up until our senior year, went through hell. We BOTH were being molested and raped on nearly a daily basis for years and neither of us knew. That's 2 people in a graduating class of 103. That's 2 people in a kindergarten class of less than 20. He never spoke up. It scares me to wonder how many others are out there in my own graduating class thah I never would think have gone through something like this. A lot of you on here have spoke up about your sexual assault. Do y'all feel the same? The most my high school did was a seminar about the dangers of sexual assault and boy was a shit show.
