Have you picked a pediatrician?

I feel horrible but with everything else going on (work, planning my baby shower and nesting) I haven't even thought about it! Now its 2 weeks before my scheduled c section and I haven't picked a pediatrician yet 🙈😫
I'm wondering how many July momma are in the same boat....

My due date is July 4th and I have picked one but haven't made any actions on it, I'm a first time mom and I don't know wether I should contact the pediatrician now before she is born or after! So confused!

I'm a FTM too . I'm due July 15th and I did call the pediatrician they told me I could come in for a prenatal appointment or wait till after baby is born to set him up a appointment. So that's what I'm doing

Yes, guys, this is important! Call whoever you selected and ask if they're accepting new patients and if they accept your insurance. There may be paperwork that you have to fill out before your little one comes, and that could be any day now😁

Personally, I'm just bringing this one to the same pediatrician that our 2 year old goes to.

I haven't called yet, but my OB recommended one that is sort of near my house that he said a lot of his patients are happy with. You could try asking your doctor if they have any recommendations.

i haven't either! i'm on my moms insurance so i wouldn't be able to add my baby and so i'm really left clueless as to what to do at this point. my dr asked me last time i went if i had picked one yet and was concerned when i said no 😩

I picked one and called them this week. They made sure they took my insurance and told me just to name them as my pediatrician at the hospital and they would come check the baby after he is born.

We met with an office last week that we liked, but I still need to call them back and fill out the paperwork to get us registered with them. Thanks for the reminder!
