No I love you?

We've been together 6 months, official for 3 months.. And still no "I love you's" have been exchanged. I feel like he shows it in other ways.. How long do this things usually take??? He's 27 and  his first girlfriend. He usually only had flings.. So I know it's probably harder for him.. I'm 27 as well and if he's never going to feel that for me id rather know so I don't waste my time.. What do you all think?

You shouldn't have to rush love. You've only been "official" 3 months. You can't force love to happen, when he's ready he'll say it. If you're ready, say it.

It took us a year. And by then it was so painfully obvious that it was almost awkward to say it because it had been so long. When my husband first said it I actually laughed and couldn't stop lol! I just wanted to say "duh"

If you honestly feel it, then say it. Hopefully he feels the same, he may need more time, don't be offended. Some guys just need to be 100% sure before they say it.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 years. I grew up saying it 583826 times a day in my family, his mom has never said it to him. So we came up with our own version of those words because he said he never liked "I love you" so we say "I will you too" to each other instead. But we didn't create that until at least 2 years into our relationship. No worries girl it will happen when it needs to :)

This might sound old school..but i always let the guy say it first...three serious boyfriends and they all said it first including my husband...i think the guy should chase...keeps them interested 😊

I dont get why so many say wait till he says it first. Um no if u love him tell him. Granted he might not say it back. I told my hubby at 3 months he said back i know sweetie. Took him to 9 months to say it back. :)

I have been with my bf close to two years..it was only a couple weeks ago that he told me he loved me out loud. Like an actual, "I love you". We had talked about it before, I wondered why he didn't say it, surely he would know by this point!!! He explained that he didn't like empty words, that he looks at the actions of someone to know their intent. He knew how much it meant to me though, and he put himself out there and made himself vulnerable. I would say to talk your guy about what saying those words means to you and get to the bottom of why he hasn't said them yet. It could be too soon for him or he's too scared to admit he loves you. Hopefully talking to him will make your situation clearer!

Its been official for 3 months, right? And if this is his first real relationship, maybe he wants to be sure what he's feeling towards you is real? If you say it to him first and he doesn't say it back, don't be offended. When I first told my boyfriend I loved him, we'd been drinking. I said it and told him I'd felt it for a long time and he's like I like you a lot, but I don't want to make a mistake and say it too quickly because in past relationships I said it too early and that relationship went downhill quickly. Give him time to work out the way he feels for you and when he's ready, he'll say it. :) Also, if you love him enough, you won't just leave him because he doesn't say it back right away.
