off Mirina but no period yet?

Question

Hi, I had my IUD out 4 weeks ago and no period and no pregnancy? Anyone else had any experience, I am so desperate to get pregnant but my body seems to have gone to sleep!!

Any advice/experiences pls?

When I had my mirena removed I got my period immediately and then three more within the next two months. It made it very hard when we were ttc. If it can go one way with lots of periods I'm sure it can go the other way with none, the body needs time to regulate I suppose. My dr told me that fertility resumes right after it's removed. So still keep trying. I got pregnant 3ish months after mine was removed. Good luck

So quick update/ got period today (6 weeks after coil removal) ! Never have I been so excited! I am not broken!  I now feel the start of our baby making journey can begin in earnest! Cross your fingers ladies xxx

I had my Mirena out in august 2016. I had a period right after and have been regular since. My husband and I have been ttc since October of 2016 (doctor says to wait a couple months of a regular period so that your uterine lining thickens back up). So in my experience it just takes time...I'll be going back to the doctor in august for my regular exam. We'll see what she says!

I had mine out the end of last August and it took until almost October for my period to return- once it did, I was pregnant by November! Good luck!

I got off mu Mirina in May, 2016, started taking prenatals right away, and was pregnant by August, but that ended in a Molar Pregnancy.

Also interested in others experiences with this. I am ttc and had my nexplanon removed three weeks ago. No AF yet. Hoping it comes back soon. Otherwise I feel all these planned BD are worthless. Hoping to see AF or positive HPT soon.
