Not being supportive

I told my fiancé that I was going to take a few college classes. I already have a job but I miss taking college classes and I haven't gotten my degree yet. He said he doesn't want me to. He said I can take online classes. I said why not an actual class? He said because he doesn't want to lose time spent with me. But it seemed more like he was afraid of me being around guys... My laptop doesn't even work good I wouldn't want to do an online class but he kept saying your laptop works fine, he knows it doesn't. He eventually said do whatever you want to do, if you want to take the classes take them. He wasn't rude or mean or anything but he is just not being supportive of me either. Advice?
