swimming in a chlorinated pool while pregnant

Is it safe to swim in a clorinated pool while pregnant? Yes or no please drop your comments below and explain. I have looked it up and everything I'm just not sure I don't see my doctor until the 30th and the office is closed right now. It says it's more unsafe to swim in a non chlorinated pool due to bacteria build up which can cause infections. Thanks ladies any doctors or nurses feel free to leave your comments as well.
