Canada-IPS testing?

For those of you in canada will you be getting the IPS testing done? For those who already have children did you have it and what was your result? Thanks!

Never had it done as this is my first pregnancy. I've been going back and forth on this and may change my mind but I don't think I'll do it. Maybe I'm taking a risk but I don't want the extra anxiety and the decision to do amniocentesis if need be. They can only give you a probability not a certain positive. I'm worried about false positives because I heard that happens and I don't think I would terminate the pregnancy. It would be a nice relief to do it and know everything is all right though.

Is isp the Down syndrome one? I had it done with my daughter and I'm scheduled again for the 15th with this babe.

I heard that you don't get the results back for weeks - like until you are around 20 weeks. Anyone hear sooner?

This is my first and we're going to have it done. Appointment is in two weeks and I'm already a bit nervous, but we'll just have to wait and see.

I have had it done with both pregnancies before and I am also having it done with this one as well on April 9.  Both came back perfectly normal for the first two and I'm hoping the same with this one as well. It's a longer ultrasound so just know you might be in there awhile. I am probably going to have the harmony test done as well (I had a missed miscarriage in December and due to my age - almost 37) i feel like all of this is a good idea. Even just to be prepared if anything is wrong. Good luck 😊

I'm having this done. March 31st I go for the ultrasound and bloodwork. My doctor told me if there is something they'd let us know within 3 days. If I don't hear anything then no news is good news.
