How long did you wait to tell family and friends you were pregnant?

Neither. I'm 16 weeks with no plans of sharing any time soon. Our families know but we aren't doing an announcement for everyone else. They will figure it out when I start looking like I'm smuggling a watermelon.

I shared right away, I know they say to wait till after 12 weeks when you chance of miscarriage goes down, but when I did have a miscarriage (which I didn't find out about until after 12 weeks anyways) it was so wonderful to have that much love and support in my life. My work just about insisted that I take a week off, my board sent me beautiful flowers, when I finally was feeling up to leaving the house I received loving hugs and embraces from everyone I know. I have never felt more loved, which is exactly what I needed when my heart was breaking so much.

Next time I get pregnant I will still tell my family friends and work, but will keep it off Facebook. So tell when you are ready, there is no wrong answer.

We have already told our parents, siblings, and some friends, but we aren't facebooking it until around 12 weeks.

We told right away. We figured if something happened(and it did) we would have more support. We celebrate together and mourn together. I lost the baby at 12 weeks in Jan. it wouldn't have changed the way I felt or how much pain I was in. It did allow me to feel all of those feeling and everyone knew why.

My mom was there when I found out, I told my sister and sister in law the day after and my brother a couple weeks later.

I just knew and started telling certain friends before I had gotten my bfp. Once I did I told my mom right away. I didn't really keep it much a secret.

Well I found out at about 10-12 weeks. After the ultrasound I talked.

I will be a slow shower I think since in my family you can never tell until 6+ months. So I will just tell when I want to if I get pregnant. I think I would like people to know if I have a miscarriage so I'll probably announce when I am like a month along.
