How would/did your family react if you were pregnant at 20?

My husband and I want to TTC, but i'm worried about how some family will see it. I'm 20 and he's 27.

I'm 20 and my parents were SUPER excited when I told them along with the rest of my family and friends. Haven't heard anyone say anything negative yet (probably just not to my face😜) the only people who are upset is my SO's parents! His mom is a total bitch to me now and it sucks! All well!

It depends on the type of family you have. My mom would be a little upset just because she had her first at 19 and always told us to wait til your a little older. But everyone is different. I got married at 21 and very happy I took my moms advice and waited. I had my first at 24 and I'll have my second when I'm 26. My family was very excited when we finally decided to have a family! It you are truly ready to start a family then it doesn't matter what anyone thinks. Best of luck.

My SO and I are both 20 and expecting our first child. Both of our families were crazy excited! But we also own a house and have our heads on straight, verses the 20 year old we went to high school with who are in the bar every night.

My parents are more happy than I am o.O but my parents were the same as me when they had me. So, it's not really there place to judge.. and also have been with my spouse for 5 years.

Im 20, SO is 23. We are 20 weeks pregnant. My mother cried and asked if i was going to keep it (i secretly think she wanted me to abort it cuz she hates my boyfriend) anyway, me and my bf have been together almost 4 years now and we dont plan on seperating so were keeping it. We arnt married yet but plan to in the future as soon as we are financially able. My family wasnt really supportive til it sunk in, but its great now! (:

I'm 20, I'll be 21 in June, & my SO is 26. 
My mom wasn't thrilled at all ( I think she just wanted me to be a kid for a little bit longer). But she's getting use to it now, & understands that I'm ready for this new chapter. 
My dad is SOOOO HAPPY!! I love it though because he is my world & to have him be so into his unborn grand baby so much already just makes me so happy!

Well at 20 I was partying and not stable in my life so they would've been disappointed. At 23 I'm in a committed relationship and am financially stable and more responsible so they are thrilled! Age doesn't matter, it all depends on if you're ready.

I was in the same situation. I am about to be 20 and my husband is 26 and I am 6 months pregnant with our first. His parents were ecstatic from the beginning. My parents were concerned because we were moving in a month 12 hours away. She was happy but upset she wouldn't be able to see the baby as much and worried that we were to young. Now she is very excited, I can't get her to stop buying stuff for the baby haha! My husband and I want about 6 kids so we are excited to be getting a head start :)
