Induction day!!!

Getting ready to head into the hospital to be induced! I've been battling high blood pressure since 35 weeks and on the verge of preeclampsia (.30 is pre-e and I'm .29), almost got induced at 35+2 after a 24 urine and brief hospital stay, but they decided to let my little one gain some weight since he was 5.15, now I'm 39+3, LO is measuring around 7lbs and my BP at my midwife appt this morning was 168/92 so she said there is no benefit to keeping me pregnant and my placenta isn't giving the nutrients like it should anymore so it's time for baby to come out. I am 2cm dilated but cervix are still high and aren't softened, so she said this will probably be a long process (could take until Monday to finally give birth, which is about 48 hrs) so I need some good, positive induction stories, words of encouragement & helpful advice since this is my first and all of this is new to me! (And I need something to help pass this long time process) I'm terrified, but excited to finally meet my son. I just hope everything goes well and there's no suprises or complications. I know at the end it will all be worth it.....❤ Carter is coming!!!! 💙👪🍼👶⏳
