If so how old were they when you gave it to them?

We gave my daughter hers when she was a few days old. She's never had a problem latching onto my breasts and she takes a bottle perfectly. She's six months now and doesn't need it anymore.

All three of my girls had one right after birth. The youngest is 5 months and out of all of them cares for it the least. But my older 2 had their until 2 and 2 1/2. They both have great teeth and gave it up without a fuss. At a year maybe a little older can't exactly remember (they are 9 and 7 now) we switched to only at bed or nap. Then one day I just took them away and they never asked for it again. 
My sis in law just did this with my almost 2 year old nephew and it worked well for her too. She went in one night and grabbed it out of the crib and he hasn't asked for it since.

My daughter was 3 days old when she first had one. I wanted to wait longer but my nipples needed a break and I wanted to eat breakfast so I popped one in her mouth and she loved it! She mostly uses it when sleeping and after nursing and she's almost 3 months old now. She likes the MAM ones.

My daughter had her binky until she almost turned 3. Her teeth and jaws are in perfect condition. Like her pediatrician said, its possible to fix teeth, but you cant say that about shattered nerves... good luck to you 😊🌹

Since birth, she was in nicu and it was soothing bc she couldn't fed for several days. She's 6 months and still has one. Studies show it actually reduces the risk of sids by keeping an open airway.
