shortness of breath while sitting?

So I'm just wondering if anybody else is getting this. I'm 29+3 and I feel like I can't take really deep breaths just from sitting in my recliner. I'm not like gasping for breath or anything like that. Pulse and BP are normal. I'm already on blood thinners so a PE is not likely either. I'm just wondering if this is a normal feeing? Maybe baby is sitting really high?

As baby gets bigger he/she is pushing up into your diaphragm, making it harder to breathe if you're not standing. When sitting, try leaning backwards to open your chest up a bit more.

Have you thought about getting tested for anemia? I thought I was crazy because I literally could be sitting/laying down and all of a sudden be completely out of breath like I had run a marathon! Or, the lightheadedness and feeling faint when I haven't done anything to overexert myself.. Turns out my iron levels were extremely low at a 8.0, low enough that I almost needed a iron transfusion. So please have your levels checked, if your levels were normal prior to pregnancy or right at the beginning you have to ask for them to retest your blood...

I get this but majority of the time she hangs down low but other times I find it hard to breathe

Happens to me all the time! I just push baby girl down a bit and ask her nicely not to suffocate mommy from the inside. She listens most of the time. Lol. She likes to curl up right underneath my ribs .
