Anyone ever had Chlamydia before?

This is a personal and embarrassing question but I had to ask. I was unfortunate to have a cheating partner 4 years ago. Sad thing is I was diagnosed with clamydia right after he left me and we had a long distance relationship. Of course, he was trying to reverse what really happened, Telling me I was the one who cheated. 😞 
i was given a prescription for it. After 3 years, i again, was diagnose with Chlamydia 😞. I was told by the Dr if the infection comes back, I may not be able to conceive at all. 😢 
I know my husband now is not cheating with me and nor do I. I don't understand why this infection keeps coming back. 😢😢😢

Well for one breathe!! 
This exact thing happened to me about 3 years ago when I first found out about it. It took about 3 times to knock it out of my system. The only thing is, is if you avoid it and don't get it treated it could cause infertility. At that point of your doctor saying if it returns you can't have children is highly invalid. I'm sorry you've experienced that. It's not true. You're not alone. It's definitely a common STI in women. If you do want to have a child down the road, talk with your OB/GYN and see what they suggest and or their predictions as to what to do to make that happen. Just do the treatments as follows, get retested and you should be okay. Make your husband get tested too, it doesn't hurt to both know you are healthy and just fine. (:

My lying ex bf gave it to me and I had no idea bc I didn't have insurance so I had had it for TWO YEARS before I got treated for it. My dr said that bc I had it for so long I was infertile. So they treated me for it, i cried for weeks thinking id never have children then THREE MONTHS later I found out I was 7 weeks pregnant. Now I have a beautiful healthy three year old lil girl :) dr s r silly sometimes Dont listen to them lol

Thank you ladies for your kind words. I must say that Doctor made me cry for saying those words 😒. 
Will be seeing a different Doctor next week and would also get Pap smear done 😊. I'm nervous I must say. 😁

I've I had it sweet pea. Lady Nov 2014. Took 1 pill and waited a week. Peed again and I was clear.  Most.commom STD
