How many dpt will give a true test result?

Hi all,

I did HCG trigger 10th June, had collection 12th June (32 eggs, 17 of them fertilised, 14 made it to day 5, with 6 making expected progress) and transfer 16th June. I was told to wait until 30th to do a home test, but I'm far too impatient. Can anyone tell me when I can hopefully trust a test? I'm so scared a positive will only be because of the trigger injection.

I honestly tested day after transfer just to see if it progresses and it did turned darker and darker. The day after transfer it was so very faint that I wasn't really sure if there's a line then the succeeding tests became darker.

Hi Amy, I triggered on the 6th of June  had my retrieval the 8th, and had a 5 day transfer on the 13th. I started to test 5dp5dt and had a faint positive it wasn't till 7pt I got a dark positive and a postive hcg test on the 22nd. I hope this helps you goodluck and lots of baby dust to you!
