I'm currently pregnant and I have two cats. Never in a million years would I give up my cats when I have this baby. They will learn to co exist with each other and my house has doors so if the cats act up they can be in one room and my baby can be with me in another and I can close the door at night so the cats can't go in the babies room. If the cats seem skiddish or hiss at the baby then I'd watch them carefully because like with anything new, they are scared. I really judge people who get rid of their pets for any reason like that. I don't understand how or why you could ever do that to them. I even plan on getting a dog a couple years after the baby is born and again they can all learn to co exist together with training. Pets are for life just like children.
