Do you believe the police tactics in this article are justified ?

Question

To clarify: This post is NOT about race, although it is part of the conversation. The focus of this conversation is about the treatment of the civilians and the tactics that were used by the cops. Please focus on that.

A man that uses a cane was dragged out of his home by law enforcement and beaten, as he said that he wouldn't sign a witness statement about his neighbor in regards to a crime that he and his family did not witness. He was beaten until he signed a witness statement. Now he and another family member, and 8 other ppl are filing a suit against the law enforcement where they live with the ACLU Mississippi. Haven't heard about this case but based off of what you said absolutely not but of course people will defend the actions of police officers because by their logic "the human being in the badge is always right" 🙄

Ugh I HATE those kinds of police. It's very heartbreaking. Police are meant to be the good and helpful but they are abusing that power!

So not only is the police brutally,  but now we have a basically forged legal document against someone who could actually be innocent. Instead of the police doing their job and getting actual evidence, they just man handled someone into saying they saw a crime that they didnt.

Sorry but what? How did these officers think that those actions were okay?

All of these acccounts of police brutality honestly make me question police training. This is inhumane and police need to stop acting as if they're above the law.

I hope that family wins their case.
