My in laws are hard working, old school, and strict. They have welcomed me in their family despite a few rocky slopes here and there. I love them to death and all but they scare me when it comes to being able to raise my children (I am sadly not a mother, but in the future 😉) They are huge shamers. If a mom that they don't even know isn't raising the kid to pay for things by themselves or working every second they are sleeping or at school, then they automatically shame the parents. If parenting isn't to their style, it's wrong. Basically my problem is if I raise mine and my SO's children with love and compassion, then I am worried that they will shame me for being the worst parent. I know I'm probably overreacting but it scares me. I struggle with anxiety so this is a big problem for me. Has anyone else gone through this?😕
