Freezer meals? 👩‍🍳

Anyone putting together some freezer meals for after baby? If so what are you making? Need ideas!!

Lasagna is good. Spaghetti casserole. Brown some chicken and freeze it because that's super easy to warm up and make into a stir fry or fajitas or something within minutes. I also brown hamburger for the same reason. Quick and easy tacos or spaghetti. I also brownbeef cubes so I can toss them in a slow cooker later with veggies for stew.

Omg I went insane this weekend. We are vegan so ours are a little different,  but you could add dairy/meat if you wanted. I put together at least 2 meals of each: teriyaki veggies, tomato soup, broccoli soup, 3 batches of waffles, 3 batches of frozen burritos, 2 different types of fajitas. Plan on making at least a double batch of 3 more soups and 3 dozen more muffins. I have an 8yo that will need to be fed still haha

Haven't been making freezer meals but I usually keep about 5 days worth of prepared meals in the fridge. Usually chicken and grilled veggies.

Good idea! But I hate cooking so preparing ahead of time is totally not on my mind.

It's a good day if I cook dinner period. So preparing ahead is definitely a no go for me. 😂 but that is a brilliant idea

Ouu we just did this! 
We did chicken fajitas with rice, stir fry chicken with rice, seafood alfredo, chicken parmesan with pasta, turkey breast with roasted veggies, and I plan on making turkey meatballs tonight! 
We bought some containers off Amazon that are freezer to microwave approved and are bpa free. They were pretty inexpensive.

Yes with a toddler and new baby due within the month I figured I better get some stuff frozen or we'd be destined for takeout every night! I made 3 pans of enchiladas, a chicken pot pie, a batch of chicken noodle soup, a batch of split pea soup, and 2 kinds of pizza pinwheels... a pepperoni and then a carmelized onion & bacon. Never made freezer meals like this so I'm hoping they turn out ok! Also going to make 2 different kinds of muffins, some egg cups, and veggie patties so there's something quick to grab my toddler.

I have some sausage balls frozen, some pastries (i like to have something quick and easy when I'm starving at 3am that first week)! I also have frozen soups and chili...can freeze bread and sandwich meat partitioned out. I also love those veggie sides and a few other frozen meals like sausage egg and cheese english muffins. These are great ideas. Totally thinking about freezing browned hamburger and chicken for mexican now. I loooove mexican. Have an easy salsa recipe to pair with that is from canned stuffs. And here I thought I was gonna feel like i was starving. 😁

Yes, yes, yes. I did loads with #1 and I'm doing the same for #2. I'll do several different casseroles- sausage, beef, chicken. A few curries, a few pies such as fish pie, cottage pie, bolognese, chilli, etc. I also stock it with bread and anything else that will come in handy. This time I'll also be putting frozen chicken breasts, potato wedges and frozen veggies. Anything that makes it easier to feed my son! I'll also stock up on sandwich fillers, breakfast cereals. Basically, anything that makes it easier for a while.
