So my little cousin came to me and told me she's having sec and wondered if I could give her some Condoms. Now, the overwhelming concensus on this app is that age is just a number, no one has the right to butt into anyone personal sex life....so I figured it should apply to this situation. She's going to be 14 in 3 months. She wouldn't tell me who or how old the male is she's having sex with.(she said she was on her period so she wasn't pregnant, but wanted to be safe in the future) Now I personally don't agree with the whole age is just a number, but like I said, it seems to be an overwhelming majority of as long as u r safe and having fun.....just do what you want. And that includes girls as young at 14/15 being w older males. Also I saw a lot of as long as it's legal, which, I think should be thrown out the window if a 17 yr old can date a 35 yr old and that be considered fine....

So, I gave her some condoms and just told her to talk to her mom in the future. Which she probably won't, I also told her she can always Google everything she might want to know online. I'm just very bothered by it but trying to allow a girl the right to her own body and choices. I really don't know if I did the right thing. I feel very torn by it. No way am I going to tell her mother either. Thoughts?
