TTC at 41 and a half....looking for a buddy that wouldn't mind chatting about supplements and share information/knowledge they've gained along the way. 
I'm still getting the hang of this app, so please feel free to tell me if theres a better way.

for those who use opk - some very important information!! I read a research article written by the developers of opk's, which said that for women close to or past 40, the lh surge happens closer to ovulation, and with the surge taking hours to reach the urine to then be detected on the opk test, quite often the women has already ovulated by the time they get a +opk. So for all the women who are waiting for a +opk before they dtd are missing their chance every cycle!!! it is so important to chart your cycle and when necessary use vitex and maca to regulate your cycle, once you understand your cycle make sure you dtd before, during and after your lh surge!! if af is irregular after all attempts to regulate - bd every other day during your entire fertile window

Hello all! I turned 40 in May. My husband and I have a 10 year old and we've been TTC #2 for nearly 2 years. Although I am considered obese, I've never had PCOS, AF is very regular and the OPKs I've been using show ovulation. Since we're both in our 40s and we've been trying for so long, we decided to start supplements. On day 1 of this cycle, my husband started taking Fertil Aid for Men and I started taking OvaBoost as well as Fertile CM. Fingers crossed that they do the trick! Hopefully there will be a March/April baby in our future! Baby dust to all!

Hi Ladies!!! Try taking Ovaboostit helps the quality of our eggs. Use ovulation predictor kits to find out exactly when your ovulation. Take a good quality prenatal vitamin, and CoQ20 which will help with egg quality as well. Fairhaven health has a lot of good fertility supplements. Eat a good healthy diet.

I am taking quite a few supplements.  But was diagnosed with Celiacs disease last Sept, so I'm not about to absorb or process as much of my nutrition as i need to.
I take the following:

L-MethylFolate 1,000mcg
Super Ubiquinol CoQ10 100mg
Multicore multivitamin
Magnesium Glycinate 320mg 
Vitamin D3 w/K2
Iron (I'm anemic)
Vitamin C

I may have missed something... But that's most.  And i still feel like i should be taking something more to help conception. 😕

I'm 42, and unfortunately just had a mc at 9wks. The good news is I'm super fertile, and I'm pretty sure it's because I followed research on how to get pregnant fast naturally over 40!! They say at this age you have to crack a few eggs to get a good one, ok I can deal with that, but also with a few easy steps you can improve egg quality. hopefully the next ones a goodie!!. here's what I did: take maca and vitex!! also take concieve plus gold (though any prenatal vitamin will do) iron, vit d. I changed my diet to include lots of fresh  (organic where possible) fruit and veg - especially leafy greens and anything colorful - bell peppers, citrus fruit, berries etc. gentle exercise every day (this is important to oxygenate the body as well as stay strong, fit, get sun...) when sunshine)... when opk once I had charted my cycle to understand my body, I put the thermometer away!! stressing over charting and bbt is a sure fire way to reduce fertility. Have plenty of great sex, don't make it a chore, and if using an opk- don't tell him your ovulating, guys get stressed out by it and it can effect their performance - they really don't need to know!! use a

Hi, I just turned 41. I've had 4 miscarriages and 7 rounds of IVF in the last 2.5 years. It has been a complete roller coaster but I've definitely learned a lot about fertility and currently kicking myself for not freezing my eggs when I was much younger! A good book to read is "It starts with the Egg". The supplements that I take follow the CCRM recommendations mostly: 75 mg of Fertinatal DHEA, 400mg of Ubiquinol (purest form of CoQ10), Acai, Thorne brand prenatal, Methylfolate, Vitamin D, 3mg of Melatonin. I also take Fertile CM to help with cervical mucus. I have my husband taking Fertilaid for men. On months where we're ttc naturally, we use Preseed. I try to eat organic whenever possible, use all natural products and avoid alcohol. Lastly, I use 2 different types of ovulation tests, Clearblue Advanced and Wondfo (cheapies). I've found that I get different results with each one so I try to BD when each one is positive just so I don't miss the egg. Hope this helps!
