When do stretch marks fade?

I'm 8 months postpartum and my stretch marks still look like this. Is this normal? Are they ever going to fade to the pale white that I've seen on other women or am I just stuck with these marks forever? Will losing weight help?

Stretch marks can take a year or two to fade to the silvery color for Caucasian women.

They'll fade eventually. You can try massaging them with whatever lotion of your choosing. That's what I did for some big scars I have and they got smaller and lighter.

Try buying pure vitamin e oil and massaging it into your skin. Me weights been up and down for years and this has really helped with keeping the stretch marks away and preventing new ones from popping up.
