Weed, yay or nay?

I have been TTC for almost three years. Since being discouraged early, I, as a type 1 diabetic and bipolar, have turned to weed to numb my problems. My question is, do you feel weed has interfered with conceiving? I am willing to give it up but not if I keep getting BFN results. #realtalk

My Husband smokes everyday and at the time I did as well  and it took us 3 months or less to conceive our son.  We are now ttc again 5 years later. I have stopped smoking, trying to be healthier this go around but my husband hasn't, so we shall see!

My husband and I were both frequent smokers when we got pregnant. And he has been for more than 10 years.

Marijuana can cause a decrease in LH levels, which can affect ovulation. This being due to the fact that it acts as a depressant, thus slowing down hormone production. There aren't any studies to determine long term effects of marijuana and ovulation, but it definitely has immediate/short term effects. Also, if your partner smokes it, it can decrease testosterone production and slow down sperm reproduction rates, also making it harder to conceive.

It smoking it regularly, it can decrease sperm count. Not sure about a woman's body though.
