After 10years with your SO have you ever just felt like you weren't in love anymore?Maybe it's because we are having a hard time and I'm not really happy right now?or maybe this is something I should act on and leave? 😭

Answer

Long, committed relationships are not easy. I've been with my man since I was 14 and am 28 now. We have times where we lose our spark but when I think of how much we've been through, I realize how much we mean to each other. We have a date night once a week (usually just dinner and shopping), we take a weeklong vacation the same week every year to celebrate our anniversary. We have a lot in common so that helps as well. I don't have much advice other than it  is work. You both have to remember your dedication to each other. Set goals for your life that you can reach together. We worked through HS, college, got married at 22, bought our house at 25, and our first baby is on the way at 28. Keep looking to the future with both of you a part of it!

We natural fall in and out of love. But couples (in my opinion) just need to find a way to fall back in. Something that helped me was the movie and book Fireproof and the Love Dare. Try to rekindle that fire. Go talk to a counselor and see what you can do to make yourself happy again. Talk to your SO and see if they feel the same or if you can both change something up. 10 years is a lot to throw away because you aren't feeling it anymore- (unless tere is abuse or something). But if you're just bored I say work on it.
