who else is due in july scared of giving birth

its my first time pregnant and im scared  of giving birth never gave birth before i will have a baby boy  im scared of getting cut down there while giving birth or tearing  or getting stiches i would like to know how the post partum birth will be.

I am due in July with my second child. I am very excited to be having another baby.  I did get stitches with my first (only a couple),but honestly, once you go into labor, you will be so excited to get that baby out, you don't worry about those little things.  I did get an epidural (awesome stuff), &was induced with pitocin which seemed to make contractions much stronger. Once I got my epidural I was cracking jokes and everything. I was originally terrified to get an epidural, I didn't want that huge needle in my back. But you barely feel it and it makes a world of difference for your pain. I never tell my first birth story bc it's not exciting. I went in at 5 and had her by 10! I had stitches but they fall out in a few days and it just isn't a big deal. Your body knows what to do and the nurses/dr's/midwives know what to do. People love to talk about the horror stories but those are SO rare. Childbirth in my opinion is way easier than 40 long weeks of pregnancy!

I'm having my second child in July. I can tell your child birth is not a big deal. I was terrified with my first and everything went smoothly. Of course I had an epidural so I felt nothing and only tore a very small amount. I promise it's no biggie:)

I am also due in July with my first & am having a baby boy! But to answer your question yesss I am nervous. I plan to go natural as I've heard it's faster & easier but I do have a low placenta & have to go back in a few weeks to see if ithas moved up. Google & youtube has helped calm my nerves & I would recommend getting a doula if possible. I hear they are awesome & would be able to coach you through labor while giving you support as well as tips for having a quick & safe labor (I wanted one but SO preferred a certified nurse instead so that's what we opted for) I believe insurance covers most & you only pay 50$ out of pocket.. I am due in July, too, and what's funny is that ever since I started reading about it, I am almost dreading the time right after giving birth more than actually giving birth. I guess I always knew that giving birth would be painful etc., but I never knew about all the gross stuff that happens after: the blood clots, the pain, the cooling pads... I am sure in the end it will all be OK, though, and we'll have our babies with us.

It is perfectly ok to be scared. But in the moment, there are so many other things to feel other than scared.

This is my second! The first time, I was scared, didn't have any idea what was going on. My water broke and they gave me drugs the moment I walked in, and then 6 hrs later I got an EPI. This time I am going to do all natural! Please don't be frightened, let your body do all the work, it's made to have children and give birth. Yes it hurts but at the end of it, you'll forget all the pain and be holding a beautiful baby. Good luck😘

Im due in July and I'm not scared at all! We have had so many complications and scary situations with our pregnancy, that birth seems like the cherry on top for me. Just focus on having your little one in your arms and the fears should fall away. 😊

Yep, terrified. Since this morning I read a woman saying she had 49 stitches and was in horrible pain. it's the one thing I absolutely am not looking forward to.
