how to get baby to take medicine?

Please..anyone.. How do I make my baby take his medicine? He has an ear infection, first antibiotic didn't cut it so pedi prescribed a stronger one. He's done okay before but he's sick of it. And spit out no telling how much of the dose. Do you have any tricks to get your LO to take medicine? TIA.

Stick the syringe in the cheek pocket towards where their molar teeth will come in.

Have them lay flat on the floor and show a toy to distract. Put dropper far back in mouth, use one hand to pinch cheeks together (like baby is puckering for a kiss) and blow softly on face

My son is the absolute worse!!! He spits every drop of it out. I have been having to stick the syringe pretty far in his mouth and do a half ml each time. Just try to get it far in their throat so they can't spit it out

In the hospital they taught me to lightly blow in their face after giving the meds.. lol sounds mean, but do it gently and it has worked like a charm.. it helps them
swallow it. I also highly recommend to position dropper into the side pocket of the mouth. Hope that helps!

There is a thing called the pacidose - you can look it up on Amazon. It's a pacifier that attaches to a syringe so when the baby sucks the pacifier they get the medicine... it worked for us for a little
